Every year, more than 9,000 babies—approximately one in every 530 births—are born with a cleft, a serious condition that leaves a gap in the lip or palate. This condition challenges their ability to eat, speak, and smile, depriving them of essential aspects of childhood joy and well-being.
We are launching a campaign of hope and healing. Our goal is to perform 50 life-changing cleft surgeries in a single month. For each child, this means more than just a surgery—it’s the return of a smile, a renewed sense of confidence, and the promise of a brighter future.

Types of Cleft
Lip Cleft
A separation or gap in the upper lip, which can manifest on one or both sides. It may range from a small notch to a larger gap extending into the nose.
Palate Cleft
An opening in the roof of the mouth, or palate, which can impact the hard palate (front) and the soft palate (rear).
